The problem

You do not need another app first. You need a money routine that fits your actual business.

Most solo owners are not failing because they lack software. They are failing because invoices, payments, expenses, receipts, pricing, and weekly review live in different places.

Mess 01

Invoices and payments

You need a clean way to send invoices, know what is unpaid, and stop chasing money from memory.

Mess 02

Expenses and receipts

You need a simple habit for capturing what left the business before it becomes a tax-season panic.

Mess 03

Profit and decisions

You need to know what the numbers mean, not just where the software put them.

What you get

A clear setup map, not a finance lecture.

Included in the $97 setup

  • 30-minute money-system setup call
  • Tool recommendation: FreshBooks, Wave, QuickBooks, Gusto, spreadsheet, or do not switch yet
  • Invoice and payment routine
  • Expense and receipt capture routine
  • Weekly money check-in checklist
  • SoloOS profit/pricing next-step review
  • One follow-up email with action checklist and links

Clear boundaries

This is setup guidance, not bookkeeping, reconciliation, tax filing, accounting advice, legal advice, payroll advice, or compliance advice.

You stay responsible for your records and professional advice. The goal is to make the mess smaller and the next step clearer.

How it works

One short call. One usable setup path.

1

You describe how money moves

What you sell, how you invoice, how you get paid, what tools you use now, and where things break.

2

We choose the simplest tool path

FreshBooks may fit some service businesses. Wave may fit others. QuickBooks may be better if your situation is more complex. Sometimes the answer is to not switch yet.

3

You get a one-page action checklist

Invoice settings, payment routine, receipt routine, weekly money check-in, and the next SoloOS question to answer.

4

You stop guessing every week

The goal is not perfect accounting. The goal is a repeatable weekly routine that keeps invoices, payments, expenses, and profit visible.

Tool-neutral setup

The right answer may be QuickBooks, FreshBooks, Wave, Gusto, a spreadsheet, or not switching yet.

The value of this setup is not forcing a tool. It is choosing the simplest invoice, payment, receipt, and weekly review routine for the business in front of us.

This is for you if...

  • You are a freelancer, consultant, creator, contractor, or service provider
  • You are using spreadsheets, payment apps, or memory to track money
  • You do not know what is unpaid, what came in, or what is leaking out
  • You want a simple weekly routine, not a giant accounting project

This is not for you if...

  • You need full bookkeeping cleanup
  • You need payroll, tax, legal, or accounting advice
  • You want someone to reconcile bank accounts
  • You refuse to do a weekly check-in

Why trust the recommendation: This is built from 20 years inside real business books, plus current QuickBooks certifications. Some tool recommendations may use affiliate links if available. That does not change the recommendation: if a tool is not the right fit, I will not tell you to use it.

Questions

Before you request a spot.

Will you set up FreshBooks for me?

The $97 offer is setup guidance, not a done-for-you software implementation. You will leave with the settings and routine to use. A higher-priced done-with-you setup can be offered if the business needs more hands-on help.

Do I need to buy FreshBooks?

No. FreshBooks is one possible recommendation. The right answer may be Wave, QuickBooks, Gusto, a spreadsheet, or staying with your current tool for now.

Is this bookkeeping?

No. This does not include categorizing transactions, reconciling accounts, preparing taxes, or correcting books.

Do I need to share private financial access?

No. The setup call is based on how your money system works now: what you sell, how you invoice, how you get paid, where expenses land, and what feels confusing. Do not share bank logins, client files, tax IDs, payroll records, or private account access.

What happens after checkout?

You will receive purchase confirmation, setup-call scheduling details, and a short intake. If the intake shows this is not the right fit, you will know before scheduling the call. After the setup call, you receive your checklist and links by email.
